All Over The Space 006 – Part 1

description: Every single one of the All Over The Space parties have been special, and this one was no exception. The day prior, I was reminiscing about hearing Personal Jesus on Stereo Montreal’s perfect sound system; what an absolute joy that moment was – it is one that I will always cherish. In a way, these parties are about recreating moments like that, while also creating new ones. It is a remember-how-we-used-to-party, now-we-party-like-this kind of party. I feel so fortunate to have the space play these tunes in, and even more so, the people with whom to play them to. While Personal Jesus was stomping out of the sound system, I was right there on the dance floor pounding it out; as you do.

This night started out with the third edition of A Special Request, and was followed by part 2 of the sixth edition of All Over The Space. Just for context, that’s about five and a half hours, and the party didn’t stop then…

The last track, by the way, is dedicated to my good friend, the lovely, Jessica Hamilton. She keeps it clean.
