This was an all-request set, which meant the night moved everywhere: hip hop, pop, dancehall, house, EDM, throwbacks, singalongs, guilty pleasures, rave classics, and total chaos in between. TLC into Dre. Blondie into dancehall. Britney Spears into Underworld. Sandstorm into Ghosts ’N Stuff. Somehow it all worked.
That’s the magic of an all-request party when the crowd trusts you and everyone’s there for the same reason: to lose themselves for a few hours together.
Looking back now, with Muskoka Foundry sadly closed, this recording feels like a time capsule — a document of what those nights actually felt like: messy, nostalgic, euphoric, funny, emotional, and completely alive.
No genre rules.
No cool points.
Just moments.
