Some rooms demand a different kind of track. This one was made for the shadows.
Built in 2007 and rinsed out at Club Cargo in Hongdae, Seoul during my residency with Konkrete Jungle Seoul, Certain Dubs for Certain Clubs is a love letter to dark spaces, deep sound, and music that owns you completely.
The haunting vocal sample from Good Will Hunting (1997) captures it perfectly:
“Certain clubs. You get in there… the music owns you.”
Repetitive. Hypnotic. Relentless. Not for every dancefloor — but for the right one, it’s home.
Lyrics
Yeah, I know.
I go places, I interact, you know.
I hide from people.
Certain clubs.
You get in there.
The music,
owns you.
Yeah, I know.
The music,
owns you.
Certain clubs.
Certain clubs.
