This one’s a manifesto. Vinyl static. Acid line arpeggios. Crisp hand-coded drums. It’s pure accomplice — programmed in Sonic Foundry Acid, with a 303 emulator squelching over breaks and vocal samples from Beat Street (1984) laying down the ethos: “I got my own style.”
This track doesn’t follow trends. It nods to b-boy culture, rave grit, and that sacred space where dancing isn’t just permitted — it’s protected. The aesthetic? Raw. Unapologetic. Custom-coded. A love letter to acid techno, break dancing, and individuality.
“If you’re going to arrest people for dancing, maybe you’re the one who needs some advice.”
Dancing, that I know.
Lyrics
If my son says that he was dancing,
then that is what he is doing,
if you’re going to arrest people for dancing,
maybe you’re the one who needs some advice,
because there are a lot worse things that people can do than dancing,
that I know.
Word.
Dancing, that I know.
Dancing.
I’m talking major leagues.
How’d you do that?
Just a little business.
You’re going to be a superstar, you’re going to have to check the style.
I got my own style.
Superstar is not a profession,
You can keep your dreams gentlemen, but get something to fall back on.
We gotta get going.
I got my own style.
Dancing.
I got my own style.
