Inspired by a weekend in Detroit, and in particular the deeper spaces that exist beyond the main stages.
After experiencing Erika and Surgeon back-to-back at IT Presents The Bunker during Return to the Source at Tangent, I came home with a renewed appreciation for patience, restraint, and the power of a groove that unfolds over time rather than demanding attention immediately.
This set lives in that spirit.
Dubby atmospheres drift through hypnotic rhythms. Minimal grooves evolve slowly. Chords linger. Percussion circles back on itself. The focus is less on individual tracks and more on the space between them.
From Deadbeat and Paul St. Hilaire to Sigha, Noah Pred, Adam Beyer, and the timeless pull of Plastic Dreams, the journey moves through dub techno, minimal techno, deep house, and after-hours psychedelia without settling too long in any one place.
No big drops.
No shortcuts.
Just rhythm, texture, tension, release, and the slow surrender that happens when the dancefloor stops looking for the next moment and fully inhabits the current one.
